MIT & House
Saw this on a couple blogs, but I only remember BigDubb's.
Anyways..

Ok..as far as house pics go..I stupidly DID NOT take photos while painting. I also do not own a digital camera..though my wife has a lil piece of shite one. So, Ill take some pics of the house in its extremely unfinished state and post some. I did post a pic or two way back in March or so..of the front door.
Needless to say, we will be paiting the trim of the house, yanking out 1-2 trees/bushes in ther front and another 1-2 in the back, redoing the plants, moving stuff, getting new fixtures, adding shelves, buying a dining room table and chairs, getting a BBQ, getting bedroom walls conces, redoing the kitchen and bathrooms, painting the kitchen..etc etc..basically, that just means spending lots and lots and lots of money in thre next few years.
There goes my midlife crisis Porsche :(

If you forego the Porsche you will get lots of money back when you decide to sell the house. Portland and Beaverton neighborhoods are experiencing a 1% per month price increase. That's a 12% increase per year. So spend away. It's well worth it.
such intelligent advise from ab.
a house is always a better asset than a fancy car. :)
Woo Porche, I think you aren't to the middle of your life to have a crisis yet. Think about it, you get all this BBQ stuff and then invite me to eat. woo woo!
You can have the midlife crisis and Porche all you want, but please....PLEASE, don't resort to the comb-over, no matter what happens!
Sounds like you'll be to busy to have a midlife crisis.
And she's right, no comb-overs
