The Woodburn Tulip Festival

These are just a few shots from the amazing Woodburn Tulip Festival (about 45 min drive south of Portland, OR) that is held each year frm the end of March until mid April. My wife and I were there last Saturday, and I literally went berzerk and shot tons of pictures..and some that were possibly more interesting possibly than these..but these give you a small idea of what these beautiful fields have to offer...and no, they were NOT photoshopped to enhance color or contrast..etc.

OOOOHHHHH MY GOSH, JOSH!!!!!! Those are the most beautiful pictures!! I love tulips!! Absolutely breath taking. :)
Okay, problem solved. Sarcasm does not come across well on Blogger, so I'm sorry I went nuts. But I do get defensive when people diss the men I obsess over, so forgive me. Today has been a trying day and I guess you were the straw the broke my back.
On a lighter note, tulips are my very favorite flower and these pictures are beautiful. I am envious that you live so close to such beauty. I'm listening to Sting right now, pretending that he's giving me a huge bouquet of flowers and singing his undying love to me.... ;)
I think Sting is too old to sing his undying love for me. It would be creepy.
The tulips are beautiful. They remind me of all the tulip paraphenelia (sp) of Amesterdam's aiport. I really like the pictures.
OH... I want to get married right in the middle of all of these. How beautiful! I have a puzzle that looks like this, but I didn't know there were places that actually were this beautiful.
I really need to make it out there soon. Tulips are my favorites and I have a ton in my yard. But nothing like this! Great shots!
I can't wait until my tulips come up!
Wow..I can't imagine being there and seeing that in person..these pictures are absolutely stunning! Amazing the color..how bright they are..they look fake even!
amazing, i would love to just lie down in the rows and have a nap!
